LAUNCH OF THE SECOND STAGE OF THE PROJECT IN COOPERATION WITH UNINDUSTRIA TREVISO AND THE SPIN-OFF NEW DESIGN VISION

The second stage of the project began in mid-June in cooperation with UNINDUSTRIA TREVISO and the spin-off New Design Vision of the Iuav University of Venice.

The results collected in the first stage were re-processed, briefs were prepared for illustrating the objectives identified for MASUTTI and some project proposals were presented, accompanied by indications regarding the desired structure and effect on the end customer.

After receiving precise instructions from MASUTTI’s Management, the designers Michele Perissinotto, Piergiorgio Callegher, Petra Cristofoli Ghirardello, Luigi Leopizzi and Elia Venturini, led by Luca Casarotto (researcher at the Iuav University of Venice), will organise a design workshop to study the briefs in depth.

A few days ago, the team of designers visited the company headquarters, an opportunity to see and feel the raw materials of the sector and choose the most suitable for the creation of the “new” products.

After MASUTTI’s Management chooses the most interesting concepts among those that will be presented, New Design Vision will develop the selected projects in detail. The deadline for the project is scheduled for the end of July/beginning of August 2018.
