Did you buy a counter top from Us but you do not know how many years the top is warranted or how to activate the guarantee? Here is a brief manual that will help you clearing any doubt!

Dekton working tops

The Cosentino Group guarantees the Purchaser the quality of the Dekton product for 25 years provided that the top is installed by an authorized worker or by a skilled marble worker. The 25 year warranty period is applied only to products sold and registered after 1st January 2018. In order for the warranty to be valid, the buyer must have a purchase proof available (receipt or invoice). The warranty must be registered on-line within 60 days from the purchase date. The warranty does not cover manufacturing inaccuracies, inappropriate installation nor not-suitable transportation.  The warranty covers the products for which maintenance was completed in compliance with the “Dekton surface use, cleaning and maintenance handbook”. In case all the conditions forecasted by the Cosentino warranty are met, all material needed for the reparation or substitution of the working top will be supplied. The costs for the manufacturing and installation of the product will not be covered by Cosentino.

Laminam working top

LAMINAM guarantees the Purchaser the quality of its product for 25 years commencing on the purchase date, which must be confirmed  with a taxation detail (invoice or receipt) and contract document with the serial number, the production batch and the finishing (commission copy or transportation document) issued by the dealer. In order to enforce the warranty, the purchaser must contact the authorized dealer from which the LAMINAM product was bought and report the fault or defect that that was noticed. The warranty cannot be applied in case the purchaser cannot proof having implemented the correct use, right maintenance and preservation of the product and that he did not modified, transformed or repaired it without the explicit approval of the seller. The defects that result in the aesthetic discrepancy of the product as well as defects produced in the phases following the production are not warranted, and such are listed below:

  • Generally speaking the transportation and displacement;
  • The installation, referring to any activity needed for the installation and cut;
  • The application and/or combination with other materials subjected to dimension variations and/or resistance also due to the effects of weathering agents, humidity, environmental conditions.

Okite working tops

Whenever an Okite product is bought, the brand issues an OKITE Card. With the OKITE Card you can extend the warranty of the product you bought from 5 to 10 years. You will only have to fill in the boxes requested in the registration and insert the data of your OKITE card as this certifies the authenticity of the product.

Please note that in order to take advantage of the OKITE warranty, you must complete the registration within and not beyond 15 days from the date of purchase, otherwise the warranty falls. The warranty only covers defects concerning the quality of the product meaning origin and/or structural defects of the top. For this reason, Okite does not respond for defects or imperfections deriving from the transformation and manufacturing of the product, from its installation or transport and for which Okite does not take any responsibility. Silestone working tops

The Cosentino Group guarantees the Purchases the quality of the Silestone product for 25 years provided that the top is installed by an authorized worker or by a skilled marble worker. The 25 year warranty period is applied only to products sold and registered after 1st January 2015. In order for the warranty to be valid, the buyer must have a purchase proof available (receipt or invoice). The warranty must be registered on-line within 60 days from the purchase date. The warranty does not cover manufacturing inaccuracies, inappropriate installation nor not-suitable transportation.  The warranty covers the products for which maintenance was completed in compliance with the “Silestone use, cleaning and maintenance handbook”. In case all the conditions forecasted by the Cosentino warranty are met, all material needed for the reparation or substitution of the working top will be supplied. The costs for the manufacturing and installation of the product will not be covered by Cosentino.

Stone Italiana working tops

Stone Italiana guarantees its kitchen and bathroom tops for 15 days from the purchase date. The warranty is valid only in Italy for kitchen and bathroom tops purchased on the national territory. The warranty is limited, circumscribed and referred to the non absorbency of liquids, neutral an/or acid detergents in regular environmental conditions. At the delivery of the working top, the Consumer shall request the Seller the issuing of the document demonstrating the purchase of the document and the of the fully completed CARD which are needed for the activation of the guarantee.

In order to activate the guarantee, the Consumer shall be registered on the website https://www.stoneitaliana.com/garanzia-italia/certificato-di-garanzia within 15 days from the delivery of the top.

The warranty is not valid in case the consumer does not activate the guarantee on the site or if false data is used; the consumer does not report a conformity defect coherently with the methods forecasted; the consumer loses or does not have the documents requested; the consumer intervened directly – or with third parties – on the working tops for its the restoration and/or reparation without the authorization of Stone Italian S.p.a.; the consumer does not adhere to the instructions reported in the “use, cleaning and maintenance of Stone Italiana surfaces”. The warranty does not cover manufacturing inaccuracies, inappropriate installation nor not-suitable transportation. 

For further details on the guarantees offered by each manufacturer, we suggest to consult the relevant websites and to read attentively the general guarantee conditions. It is recommended to check that the warranty covers foreign countries – except Italy – on the official website of the manufacturer.
