Ceramic slabs. Detensioning before working on a slab

Detensioning

Detensioning: a 2/3 cm (circa) cutting along the slab’s perimeter. This practice allows the material to free the tensions gained during the manufacturing process and consequently avoid possible rupture connected risks. This procedure requires great attention and care, as the procedure itself can provoke the breaking of the surface. Parameters such the cutting speed and the disc wearing – for example – need to be monitored before executing the cuts.

The care we put in these works mirrors the attention and dedication we offer to our products and clients.
